Extension Farm Manager

Physical Requirements

Ability to sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform other cleaning duties. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.


As the Extension Farm Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Morgan County Extension farm and some basic custodial aspects of the Extension office. General duties include farm management, cleaning, maintenance, basic landscaping, conference room set up, and general repairs while conducting yourself in a professional manner. Specific duties include but are not limited to maintaining inventory of farm equipment and tools; mow and weed control as required; operate and maintain farm; repair or fence and maintain farm structures as needed; provide animal care, as required; conduct maintenance on farm equipment and maintain up to date records.

You will report to an Extension Agent and there will be some interaction with the general public.

Previous experience in a custodial or maintenance position preferred.
