Big Horn High School and Big Horn Middle School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our faculty as a Vocational Agriculture Teacher and FFA Sponsor for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Job Description:  The Vocational Agriculture Teacher will be responsible for instructing students in agricultural science courses, overseeing FFA chapter activities, and providing guidance to students pursuing agricultural careers. The successful candidate will likely teach one class per day at the 8th grade level (on the same campus as the high school). 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach a comprehensive curriculum in agricultural education (including hands-on learning experiences).
• Oversee the FFA chapter, including organizing meetings, events, and competitions.
• Prepare students for leadership roles through the FFA program and encourage their participation in local, state, and national competitions.
• Work with local businesses and agricultural partners to enhance the agricultural education program.
• Provide career counseling and mentorship to students interested in pursuing agriculture-related careers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education or a related field.
• Valid Wyoming teaching certification or eligibility to obtain certification by start date.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural science and related subjects.
