Summary:As a Research & Development Intern on the Ag team, you will explore innovative solutions to advance sustainable materials for agricultural applications. You will lead lab-based experiments, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop next-generation surfactants and polymers that balance performance with environmental impact.
Responsibilities Include:
Research project geared towards advancing Momentive’s knowledge and understanding of agricultural spray adjuvants. Must be able to perform the following functions after training.
- Independently perform lab-based experimentation
- Operate all instruments required for the scope of the project.
- Document work through an electronic lab notebook.
- Maintain lab according to good housekeeping principles.
- Collect and consolidate findings in report format.
- Summarize and exhibit work in a PPT format at the end of the summer
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role

Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field.
Program Qualifications:
-
The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.

The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August
What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
