Sales Agronomist

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Agronomist to join our team. In this role, you will provide agronomic support and product recommendations to growers, helping them achieve optimal crop performance. You’ll also drive sales of agricultural inputs and services, building strong relationships with customers and contributing to the growth of our business.
- Develop and maintain relationships with growers, agribusinesses, and industry partners.
- Provide agronomic advice on crop production, soil health, pest management, and input selection.
- Promote and sell seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, and other agronomic services.
- Conduct field scouting, soil sampling, and crop diagnostics.
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and agronomic data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in agronomy or agricultural sales.
- Strong understanding of crop production systems and agronomic practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory.
