Northeastern Wyoming, Cow calf and yearling operation looking for Ranch hand.
Family run owner operated well established and improved Ranch. This job is all aspects of a Cattle ranch operation. All Cattle work is done horseback, but this is not strictly a riding job. Other duties include fencing, welding, maintenance, some ranch construction, waterline repair and construction, general chores, calving, branding, processing, caring for Cattle in general.
Must be willing to work hard. Must be willing to work in all types of weather conditions, sometimes long hours. Must be able to think critically and solve problems. The ideal candidate would have some calving and horseback experience. Must have some agricultural background or work experience. Must have a compassion for caring for animals.
Must be willing and able to listen to and follow direction, remember and execute tasks, and be coachable and willing to take help to learn and grow.
Housing provided (3bed, 1.5 bath), utilities provided, half beef per year, Workmen’s Comp. insurance. Competitive salary dependent on experience with possibility for increase dependent on performance. No smoking in any ranch owned property.
Access to indoor arena, large well maintained outdoor arena. Invitation to join us during roping practices (team roping, steer tripping and breakaway roping) or to utilize facilities.
Located 17 miles southeast of Buffalo, Wyoming. Interstate and well maintained gravel roads for access to towns with amenities, good school systems, wonderful area to live.
