Job Overview:
We’re looking for a hardworking, dependable, and multi-skilled Estate Manager who can do a little bit of everything. This is a hands-on role at a working horse ranch and two homes, requiring experience with horses, property maintenance, plumbing, fencing, landscaping, machinery, and general repairs. If you’re adaptable, self-driven, and ready to pitch in wherever needed, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Equine Care:
- Feed, water, and monitor horse health and behavior.
- Muck stalls, clean paddocks, and maintain barn and stable areas daily.
- Assist with grooming, tacking, and exercising horses.
- Provide basic first aid and administer medications as needed.
- Assist during veterinary and farrier visits.
Facilities & Grounds Maintenance:
- Repair and maintain fencing, gates, stalls, barns, and shelters.
- Perform plumbing tasks such as fixing troughs, water lines, and irrigation systems.
- Handle painting projects for fences, barns, and structures to maintain functionality and appearance.
- Perform general landscaping duties including mowing, weed trimming, tree pruning, planting, and seasonal clean-up.
- Operate and maintain farm equipment (tractors, mowers, weed eaters, skid steer, arena drags, UTVs, etc.).
- Support fire prevention and irrigation setup during seasonal transitions.
General Ranch Support:
- Assist with construction, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
- Fix fences, touch up paint, and respond to a variety of maintenance needs.
- Load/unload and store feed, hay, and other supplies.
- Help prepare for and assist with ranch events, clinics, or visitor experiences.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with and around horses is required.
- Knowledge of plumbing, landscaping, or carpentry is highly valued.
- Able to safely use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or agricultural training a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for ranch operations.
- Has experience driving heavy machinery

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
