Ranch Caretaker (Full‑Time, Live‑On‑Site)

Historic Triple B Ranch is hiring a full‑time, live‑on‑site Ranch Caretaker. This role requires a mature, dependable, drama‑free individual who can handle daily horse care, ranch maintenance, and independent work in all weather conditions. Housing is provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Daily horse care: feeding, watering, turnout, grooming, basic doctoring
• Stall/corral cleaning and facility upkeep
• Fence repair, mowing, snow removal, trail maintenance
• Equipment checks and basic repairs (ATV, tractor, vehicles)
• Ordering grain, coordinating farrier visits, assisting with scheduling
• Occasional guest check‑ins or light housekeeping
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized ranch environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional ranch or equine experience required; 7–10 years preferred
• Must live on‑site full‑time
• Alcohol‑free, drug‑free, drama‑free lifestyle
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Reliable, mature, and able to handle long days outdoors
• Experience with horses and ranch work
• Able to lift 75–100 lbs and perform physical labor
• Comfortable working in heat, snow, rain, and mountain weather
• Weekend availability required
• Basic Microsoft Outlook skills
