Field Agronomy & Equipment Operator
Location: Boonville, IN

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Field Agronomy & Equipment Operator to join our team. This full-time role focuses on applying crop nutrients and protection products while maintaining equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery, and working outdoors, with a strong focus on safety and quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Blend and apply fertilizers and crop protection products accurately according to recommendations and label directions
• Operate application equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain vehicles, application equipment, and facilities in excellent working order
• Perform basic mechanic work on assigned vehicles
• Track and maintain applicator logs and records
• Communicate product inventory levels and operational updates to the Location Manager
• Load and unload inbound and outbound inventory
• Ensure timely delivery of products to local destinations
• Promote a positive image of the business with customers and prospects
• Train and assist seasonal employees as needed
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards
• Other duties as assigned

Note: This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Prior agronomy or equipment experience is a plus, but not required
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work outdoors and operate machinery
• Preferred: Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL with endorsements
