Seeking all-around farm/ranch hand on family farm in Lewistown, Montana area. We raise wheat, dryland hay, and cattle and need someone to assist with production and help keep the ranch maintained. You may be working alone or with one other person. Farm/ranch experience is preferred but much of the work will involve cleaning or maintenance. Tasks may include fixing fences, assisting with calving, haying, mucking out stalls by hand, grubby clean-up work, animal care, checking cows, planting wheat, cultivation, equipment maintenance, painting sheds, general upkeep, and general chores. 

Horseback riding experience is required as we work cows by horseback, but most of the work is not going to involve horses. Salary is DOE and paid once monthly. This is a fairly isolated location with limited cell and internet service. Drug and smoke-free workplace.
