Job Description

• Collaborate with ownership on farm growth initiatives
• Oversee the daily welfare and management of our 50-head dairy herd.
• Monitor animal health and coordinate with veterinarians when needed; maintain detailed herd records
• Operate and maintain tractors and farm machinery
• Plan and execute seasonal crop and feed harvesting cycles
• Manage day-to-day farm operations
• Bring forward ideas for new processes that make the farm more sustainable.
• Communicate with partners and milk processing manager to adhere to their weekly milk needs

Required Experience ; Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in dairy farm management or a closely related role
• Demonstrated experience managing or caring for a dairy herd (milking, breeding cycles, health monitoring)
• Proficiency operating tractors and farm equipment; basic mechanical and repair skills required
• Experience with harvesting operations and feed/forage management
• Verifiable track record of responsible, compassionate animal care
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and seasonal extended hours as needed
