Job Description:

Teach Agricultural Sciences with emphasis on Ag Mechanics, Welding, and Shop

Manage and maintain the agricultural mechanics shop and equipment

Ensure shop safety procedures and student safety training

Assist with and support the Local FFA Chapter

Prepare students for FFA competitions, CDE/LDE events, and Ag Mechanics shows

Maintain inventory, equipment, and shop tools

Preferred Skills:

Welding (MIG, TIG, Stick)

Metal fabrication

Blueprint reading

Shop Safety management

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

Valid Texas Teaching Certificate 

Experience in agricultural mechanics and welding - preferred

Ability to manage a shop environment and maintain safety standards
