Position Overview

As a member of the Ranch Manager staff, you will be working under the direct supervision of the Ranch Manager. The Assistant Ranch Manager assists in overseeing facilities and grounds duties. That Assistant Ranch Manager is assigned duties as directed by the Ranch Manager and is expected to operate independently to identify facilities and grounds needs to address them.

Primary Duties

  1. Assist in repair and maintenance of HVAC units.
  1. Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
  2. Assist in maintenance and repair of ranch vehicles and heavy equipment.
  3. Assist with road repair, digging trenches, electrical, water line, welding, and other repairs. 
  4. Assist with landscaping tasks for ground level trees and shrubs- nothing over 6 feet in the air or that would necessitate the use of a ladder.        
  5. Operate heavy equipment with proper training/ certification (bulldozer, backhoe, etc.)

Requirements

  1. Must speak fluent Spanish.  
  2. Must possess valid driver’s license.  
  3. Must be willing to work in a team environment, but also sometimes as an individual.  

Schedule and Compensation  

  1. Normal working hours: 7am to noon and 1pm to 4pm.  Occasional overtime.  No weekends.
  2. Hour wage rate:  $22-$24 based on experience
  3. Paid holidays and sick time
