We are a multigenerational cow-calf and farming operation committed to honoring our place in the legacy of this land and community. Our work is rooted in a deep respect for the soil, water, people, and animals that sustain us.

Alongside raising cattle, we manage our own hay and crop production, which keeps us busy year-round. We use a mix of traditional know-how and modern equipment to get the job done right. We value reliability, clear communication, and a strong work ethic — and we’re looking for someone who’s willing to pitch in, learn, and take pride in a job well done.

Position Summary

We’re hiring a full-time, all-purpose farm and ranch hand to assist with day-to-day livestock care, equipment operation, irrigation, haying, and general property maintenance. This is a hands-on, physically demanding job that requires comfort working outdoors in all weather.

Key Responsibilities

Cattle Herd Care:

• Daily welfare checks
• Feeding livestock using tractors and other equipment
• Assisting with calving and herd health protocols
• Vaccinations and veterinary support
• Moving cattle via horseback, ATV, and trailer
• Fence building, repair, and maintenance
• Facility maintenance and repairs

Farm & Irrigation Work:

• Flood irrigation and moving transfer pipe
• Operating tillage and haying equipment
• Equipment maintenance and basic mechanical work
• General labor and groundskeeping across the property

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for THE right person who is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently. The ideal candidate is organized, thinks ahead, and takes pride in doing quality work. Much of the job is solo, so staying focused and productive on your own is essential.

Mechanical ability is a definite plus — especially when it comes to operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting equipment — but it’s not the only thing we’re looking for. Work ethic, reliability, and attitude matter just as much, if not more. If you show up ready, take initiative, and leave things better than you found them, you’ll fit right in.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (required, non-negotiable)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and able to perform physically demanding labor
• Willingness to work in cold, heat, and inclement weather
• Subject to drug testing
• No tobacco use in vehicles or work equipment
