- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective farmer customers in the region
- Recommend and sell agronomy products including seed, fertilizer, crop protection, and soil amendments
- Conduct field scouting, soil sampling, and crop assessments to provide tailored agronomic recommendations
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Stay current on product offerings, agronomic research, and industry trends
- Collaborate with the cooperative team to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction
- Participate in local agricultural events, trade shows, and grower meetings
- Background in agronomy, agriculture, crop science, or a related field
- Prior experience in agricultural sales or a customer-facing agronomy role preferred
- Strong knowledge of crop production, soil health, and agronomic best practices
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales territory independently
- CCA (Certified Crop Adviser) designation is a plus
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the local region
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
