Position: Agronomist Entry Level
Department: Ag Technology Solutions
Reports To: Senior Agronomist
Status: Non-Exempt/FT
SUMMARY: This position is an entry level agronomist to share responsibilities in our expanding Ag Technology Solutions Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Client interaction
- Selling from a menu of services
- Processing information with geographic information systems software
- Creation of variable rate application maps
- Soil sampling
- Soil mapping
- Crop scouting
- Crop issue diagnosis
- Plant tissue sampling

- Basic computer knowledge
- Basic office equipment

- Current Driving License
- Able to travel to customer sites
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or equivalent experience
- Experience: Entry level
- SMS software experience desired
- Computer Skills Required – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
