Brief Summary:

Vilonia High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Agriculture Teacher who will also serve as

an Advisor for our award-winning FFA Chapter. This is an exciting opportunity to join a program with a

rich history of producing leadership and even state and national officers.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for exposing students to the numerous ways agriculture can

love for agriculture and helping them develop leadership skills through the FFA program, we'd love to

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Education or a related field.

- Valid teaching certification.

- Successful completion of all required background checks.

- Previous experience in teaching agriculture and advising FFA is preferred.

- Strong passion for agriculture and youth development.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in agriculture that align with state and national standards.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

- Assess student performance and provide feedback to improve their knowledge and skills in agriculture.

- Serve as an FFA Advisor, guiding students in their FFA activities and projects.

- Organize and lead FFA events and competitions, ensuring our students are well-prepared and confident.

- Collaborate with other faculty and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for our students.

- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and participation in the FFA program.
