Brookside Gardens, a horticultural display garden in Montgomery County, Maryland, seeks an experienced Custodian. The Custodian is responsible for maintaining clean, healthy and inviting public buildings and staff offices using green and sustainable products.
Examples of Important Duties:
1. Pass Commission medical examination.
2. Two years of experience in grounds keeping, building maintenance, or park maintenance;
3. Ability to read and write.
4. Valid driver's license.

Primarily works inside, but will work outside on occasion or as assigned. Exposed to weather, dirt, waste, odors, caustic chemicals, pesticides, wildlife and potentially harmful insects. Will work some weekends, evenings and holidays.

Brookside Gardens is a 50-acre horticultural display garden with intricately designed landscapes, permanent and seasonal displays, and two conservatories.
