Internship
We are seeking one self-motivated student for a summer internship who is interested in the interaction of soil biology and chemistry of plant relationships and return on investment. This student would need to possess the following skills: the ability to communicate with employees properly, track growing degree units, identify stages of corn and soybeans, a basic understanding of soil types, and an active class C driver’s license. The student will be expected to pass a background check and drug test if needed, lift at least 50 lbs, and work 40-50 hours a week from May through the end of August (negotiable with school schedules). Ide Seed & Fertilizer will provide 3-5 hours a week of personal education time, a positive working environment, a negotiated industry pay compensation, vehicle and fuel, and Workman’s Compensation Insurance.
