Field Sales-Agriculture

Stotz Equipment looking for an experienced agriculture field salesperson to grow, develop, and manage long-term customer relationships to maximize gross margin contribution through sales of new, aged, and used equipment. This person will represent and sell products and/or services to external customers in the market area. Prepare, coordinate, organize, and work trade show events. In addition, will become comfortable operating and demonstrating all equipment available for sale. Must be able to provide robust customer service through a positive attitude, to ensure the highest customer satisfaction possible. Have excellent organizational skills and effective follow-up; outstanding communication skills a must; ability to adapt communications style to the person and/or situation. Become comfortable with financing options in order to assist customers; constantly strive to improve knowledge of features of all equipment potentially sellable by the dealership, as well as stay up to date with industry trends. Work with management to create an annual forecast of anticipated sales and grow revenues.
What it Takes
- A background in Agriculture, specifically beef cattle experience would be ideal
- 3 years of sales experience is preferred
- Strong work ethic is imperative
- High integrity, highly motivated, and loyal team player
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task effectively, stay organized, and operate under stress
- Positive attitude to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Long hours and weekends may be required to maximize sales and achieve/surpass annual sales goals
- Process paperwork timely and accurately
- Have and maintain a clean driving record
- Solid computer and customer service skills, as well as time management skills

Education
- Preferred: Bachelors or better in Business Administration
Licenses & Certifications
- Preferred: Trailer Towing Certification
