Farm Hand/Ranch Hand
Grandview Livestock & Grain is in search of a farm/ ranch hand. We are a diverse sheep & goat ranch and a “regenerative minded” crop farm located approximately 60 miles south of Kansas City.
Responsibilities on the ranch side of the operation will include but are not limited to building/ repairing electric fence, pasture moves, animal health tasks, intensive rotational grazing using poly-wire, and feeding hay and protein.
Responsibilities on the crop side of the operation will include but are not limited to operating late model tractors while planting or drilling crops, operating a tractor and grain cart, driving a semi or 10 wheeler to the elevator during harvest, fixing mechanical problems.
The candidate shall have an open mind and a willingness to learn. Little to no experience with the aforementioned responsibilities is acceptable as long there is an effort to learn them all.
Salary will be dependent upon experience. Housing is provided. Beef/pork provided annually.
