Spokane Produce also has a farm! We are seeking a FULL TIME hard worker to serve as Farm Foreman. The successful candidate must be familiar with farming operations.

Farm Foreman Job Summary:

Responsible for all daily operational activities associated with farming, maintenance and care of animals. Tasks vary from day to day and will change throughout the seasons. The ability to obtain a private applicator’s license will be needed for noxious weed spraying.

Essential Duties:

* May direct the work of 2-3 employees and up to 7 seasonally

* Must communicate with family owners on a regular basis

* Care for horses, chickens, cattle, and family dogs

* Perimeter fence evaluation weekly

* Cattle auction twice per year

* Operate large equipment: tractor, swather, bale wagon, dump truck, flatbed pickup, snow plow, fuel truck, water truck, bulldozer, four-wheeler sprayer, semi with flatbed trailer

* Alfalfa and grass hay production

* Irrigation

* Firewood cut and bundled for sale

* Snow removal

* Landscaping includes mowing weekly, or as needed

* Maintain records regarding equipment, crops and animals

Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, be a strong problem solver, comfortable working on your feet for long periods and in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop and kneel to repair equipment. Must be at least 18 year's old.

Schedule is Sunday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm or until done.

Successful candidate must be able to pass a drug screen and county criminal background check.
