Cook-Family Style

We are a working cattle and guest ranch, taking a small number of guests from spring to fall (14 max.), who like to have an active vacation in a peaceful, semi-remote setting. Focus Ranch is located 50 mi. NW of Steamboat Springs, CO.

We have been a guest ranch since the late 1930’s and members of the Dude Ranch Association. Staff size approx. 9

We pay a salary BOE. Days off:1.5/week. Rm&BRD provided as well as enjoying ranch activities. More information is available on the Focus Ranch website.

No pets allowed.

Cook:

• Prepares 3 meals per day for staff and guests
• Meals are home-cooked with fresh breads, desserts, vegetables
• Meals are served buffet style
• Menu and recipes are available as well as on site training
• Guest personnel assist the cook
• Manages kitchen and maintain Health Dept. standards
• 1 ½ days off per week
• Cook must be self motivated and highly organized as well as able to give direction to others. Must be able to follow recipes and proficient in cooking/baking skills. Focus Ranch serves traditional but higher end family style meals, incorporating contemporary food trends into our menu.

Salary: $1,400.00 to $2,200.00 /month
