Gold Eagle Cooperative is looking to hire an Agronomy Salesperson!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the sales of Gold-Eagle Agronomy products and services
• Supervision of Agronomy inventory; management of that inventory at your location
• Assist in equipment maintenance and service records
• Billing of products and services provided to customers
• Maintain and grow local business with dignity, honesty, and class
• Be a team player across all GEC business units
• Attend Mandatory Gold-Eagle Agronomy meetings throughout the year
• Help in other areas of business that GEC conducts when asked

Education Desired:

• Ag Degree/s desired but not mandatory

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of crop production systems
• Crop scouting and staging
• Herbicide knowledge
• Seed placement and recommendations
• Fertilizer/soil sampling with recommendations based on analysis and yield goals
• Good communication skills/verbal/written
• Very high level of motivation and organizational skills

Recommended Experience/Background:

• 2+ years of crop production/agronomy-related skills
• CCA
• Licensed Commercial Applicators License (1A, 1B, 1C) for temporary needs
• Seed Treatment certification
• Class A CDL with tanker, doubles/triples, and HazMat for NH3 and temporary needs

Recommended Training Courses/Sequence:

• Licensing CEU courses
• CCA, if not already achieved
• Product knowledge training and field days
• Career advancement and all other trainings suggested by senior staff
