Job Title: Operations Assistant Manager

Reports to: Site Manager

Position Objective: Assist Branch Manager with profitability and sales volume while focusing on outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the facility
Scheduling deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
Working with sales team to service customer needs
Provide direction and delegation of daily tasks to employee group
Ensuring proper procedures are being followed to account for inventory coming in and leaving the facility
Be proactive on safety matters and ensure company policies are being followed, conduct monthly safety meetings as required by program
Work with other locations when necessary to get custom work done
Assist branch manager with team building and training of employees
Work with branch manager, sales team, and other locations on product ordering and managing inventories

Education: High School or vocational/technical degree in a related field

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in agribusiness, with management experience

Skills: Excellent communication skills, including verbal, listening and written communication, problem solving ability, leadership, coaching and motivation skills, time management, analytical skills, basic math and moderate computer skills, moderate negotiation and sales skills, customer relation skills are critical.
Additional Preferred background skills, knowledge, abilities include: Associate or Bachelors Degree in related field (management or agriculture). Custom applicator's license and Certified Crop Advisor preferred along with a Class A or B CDL endorsement.
