Agronomy Liquid Plant Operator

Country Visions Cooperative is looking to hire an experienced full-time Agronomy Liquid Plant Operator for their Chilton location. The duties of this position will change, depending on the season.

• Competitive pay – $22.00 to $30.00, depending on experience. Hourly rate will increase $2.00 once you obtain an Applicators license and $2.00 an hour for a CDL

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Duties will change throughout the year depending on the season
• Mix and blend chemicals and fertilizers
• Dispatch personal and equipment to complete jobs
• Keep inventory of products
• Maintenance of liquid plant facility
• Working knowledge of products and services offered by Country Visions Cooperative
• Aid in deliveries of chemicals and fertilizers
• Chemical and liquid fertilizer loading of tanker trucks and refillable containers
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

HOURS

• Daily hours Monday through Friday
• Some Saturday and Sunday hours expected during May and June (Spring Season)
• Some unpredictable and extended work hours including seasonally extended hours will occur

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess, or be able to obtain a Wisconsin Commercial Pesticide Operators License and a valid Class A CDL. Don’t have these, no problem! Country Visions Cooperative offers 100% reimbursement
• Valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsement, or willing to obtain
• Thorough knowledge of agronomic crop production practices
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions on general repairs
• Conscientious attitude and attention to detail are essential
• Must possess computer skills adequate to operate facility computers and dispatch programs
• Ability to lift 60 pounds
