Horticulture Research/Maintenance Assistant

The Center for the Agricultural Sciences and Sustainable Environment at Penn State Berks is seeking a motivated student to assist with research and maintenance of the Horticultural display area.

Tasks include, but not limited to: collecting data, pruning, mulching, watering, weeding, and general landscape duties. Previous experiences in relevant fields is welcomed, but not necessary as the motivation to learn and contribute to a learning and growing work environment with daily changes.

Pay is $9.50 per hour. Work begins with plant propagation running till frost for 20-30 hours per week. Work is primarily outdoors, with some computer-based and indoor projects.
