This position will serve as a leader in maintaining the management of a 150-head beef cow herd and will also serve as a leader in supervising the application of research protocol and coordination of the on-site farm crew and seasonal employees in conducting research projects involving beef cattle at NCROC and selected projects that may occur off-site around the state. This person will work closely with the research and operations manager in carrying out these primary responsibilities. The person will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues from both NCROC and St. Paul campus in the design and execution of experiments. The person in this position will also be expected to have an understanding of experimental design and ability to follow experimental protocol including data collection, management, and archiving.
Full time, 12 month, continuing appointment.
